Will taking off the emblems from my tailgate leave my paint sun damaged ??

Depends on how old your truck is, what color the paint is and how well the paint has been taken care of.

I can't say I've ever heard of that complaint ever after a member de-badged a vehicle. I would definitely wash & wax the area afterward to protect the newly exposed areas.

its a 2007 and it’s kinda like a dark grey colour. The guy I bought it from had it sitting on his driveway for a while but the paint generally looks fine
