Does anyone know where/what plant the 2006 Dakotas are manufactured? [sm=smiley25.gif]

I believe the Rams are made in Mexico, just don't know about Daks.

Michigan according to the sticker on the drivers side door panel in my 02

 

The 2006 Dodge Dakota is built at the Warren Truck Assembly Plant in Warren in Michigan.

I just got a reply from my dealer and he said they were made at the Warren, Michigan plant.

Getting close as he also indicated my 06 QC 4.7 Dak was due to arrive on the 12th - Great news since I have been waiting since the 1st week of Oct for this one.

 

Have you ever driven a Dakota? I'm assuming you have, but they're excellent. I know you'll be very satisfied with your purchase.

I appreciate all the comments. Sometimes delays can get ya down.

My last post on the 5th said my Dak QC was to arrive on the 12th. Sadly that didn't happen. [:@] Nor did the 19th [:@] nor 26th.[:@] But the great news is that today the dealer called and said it had arrived and I could pick it up tomorrow the 30th.

So the run down is:
2006 QC 4.7L 4x4 limited slip 3.92 rear end for towing.
Inferno red crystal pearl coat
26E package
towing package
heated seats and side airbag curtains (wife)
bed liner
tonneau cover
chrome tublar side rails (we are both in our 60's and need the help it provides)

I have enjoyed all the comments and threads that have been posted here and I hope I can get a few photos to post later on. I personally love all the mods that everyone is making to their Daks especially those that improve performance and increase the beauty of it. Thanks for all the support everyone has given.
