Hello,

I have an 05 Dakota, and when I bought the truck, it came with two brand new keys. After about a month, they stopped working.

Everytime they stop working, what happens is I turn off the truck, I hit the lock button to lock the doors and they lock along with the horn. I go to click the lock button again, and it does nothing. It happens every time with each of the remotes.

I took it to dodge, and they were able to fix the programming, but it went out again. Same issue, same sequence. Is there wiring that's shorting or I think the mechanic mentioned something about a rolling code?

I have to press the lock button inside my truck to lock the doors, then use the key to open the driver door.

If you need any more info let me know. I really want to get this fixed.
