06 Dakota 3.7 4X4 Park Brake Issue

Default 06 Dakota 3.7 4X4 Park Brake Issue

The hook at the end of my Park brake cable came unattached at the drum. The hook came out of its slot on the actuator but i am not sure how to get it back together i cant pull it by hand the way it is its tight. what do i need to do to get everything back together so it works

Follow the cable towards the front of the vehicle. It should join to another cable the has an adjustment bolt. Loosen the bolt to get enough slack to put the cable back. Usually they are too rusted to work with. Getting a replacement should be cheap if that is an issue.
