Default CC Rear Seat Removal

2005 Dakota ClubCab....how the hell do I remove the headrests of the factory jumpseats? I wanna tint the rear, but it's too much of a pain to get that done with the headrests up...

Thanks

Look by where the headrests go into the seat. Usually there is 2 posts per headrest. One usually has some kind of lever that you use to release teh headrests.

That would be correct in the Quad cab, where there are "normal" headrests....in the club cab the headrest is bolted to the rear firewall...the problem is that I don't know how to get the plactic piece off of the the back wall to get to the headrests....

Anyone else have an idea?

If theres no screw holes or screw covers, then my guess its snapped in place. How its would snap in place I dont have a clue about.

OK, looked again, it does look snapped in place...how do you get the damned side panel (which covers the rear speaker) off? It looks like that has to come off before the back panel can come off....

I have removed my head rest in my 05 dakota. The plastic piece just snaps in place. I had to remove the plastic around the rear speaker and than the back plastic piece. They all just snap in place. The head rest has 2 bolts bolting it to the truck, un bolt them and the head rest will come right out. It's real easy, just a lot of plastic to remove. any questions let me know
