I got so involved in making sure the truck had limited slip, trailer towing package, skid plate group, etc., I did not think to check out the auxiliary lighting. Needless to say, I was more than a little surprised to learn that there was no underhood light on a Dakota with a MSRP of almost $33,000. The owners manual seems to discourage the addition of electrical accessories. Has anyone added a simple mercury switch underhood light? Suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

 

no under hood light to my 2005 Ram, but its an easy install im sure, you should have the dealer do it if your worried about warranty issues
