Default Seat/belt light and alarm

I have a 2010 Dodge I just bought. I can't get the light or the alarm to go off. The alarm will sound for almost a min after driving, then it stops. But I don't want to deal with this everytime I get in my truck to go somewhere. I tried disabling it with the lock position and on position and clicking it in and out 3 times, but maybe cuz the light doesn't go off it won't work?

Maybe you're not doing it fast enough.

The light won't go off though.

Is this issue with the seat belt fastened?

Yes, even with ALL seatbelts fastened, the light is still on. And the alarm still goes off for about a minute or two. Drives me crazy!
