Default Torque converter keeps locking and unlocking.

I have a 2006 Dakota 3.7 and when I’m driving it with gentle throttle around 40 mph the torque converter keeps locking and unlocking. But at highway speed it’s fine. I changed the TPS and speed input sensor but it didn’t fix it. Anybody had this problem or have the solution?

Transmission service would be next.....drop the pan, replace fluid and filters. Use only Mopar filters.

I have had the same problem, with my old and new trans. its not enough power to keep it locked when you light foot it. heavier foot, take the OD off around town, or just live with it . fluid change doesn't do anything but it could probably use it anyways!
