Default Rear Differential Drain and fill service

Good Morning,
I am needing to perform the rear differential service on my 2005 dakota 4.7 . Just wanting some general information as to how to tell whether my diff is 8 1/4 or 9 1/4. And also how to figure out the capacities and whether or not I need a no slip additive. I have access to All Data at the Dealership I work at and It says that if my diff is equipped with trac lock I need the additive. Thanks in advance for the help...

If you get your build sheet, it will tell you what size your differential is and whether you have a limited slip differential.

Build sheet: https://fcacommunity.force.com/RAM/s/equipment-listing

You'll need to enter your VIN.

Look at the rear diff:

8.25 = 70 ounces.
9.25 = 72 ounces.
