Default String Alignment/rebuild front end

Decided to rebuild the front end of my Dakota. Ordered a bunch of stuff from rockauto (cheapest overall). Do inner/outer tie rods, struts, upper and lower control arms, stabilizer links and also did o2 sensors and headers/gaskets. Also did the wheel bearings. Reused the strut top with new gasket. Compressed spring with floor jack, worked really well. Then took for a drive. Wandered more or less all over. Read a bunch on string alignment. Took about an hour to get the strings perfect, used a vernier caliper and set toe in to 2mm each side ( spec is 1-3mm). Had steering wheel straight before I started and tied it to brake with ratchet strap so it wouldn’t move. Test drive, drove perfectly. Steering wheel straight, no wondering, nothing. Far more perfect than I imagined. I was amazingly suprised.
