Default Security after battery change

05 Dakota 4.7 qc
THe battery died last winter and the positive terminal wouldn't tighten plus was corroded so I replaced both the battery and positive connector.
Every since then upon opening the door or starting the truck the headlights, taillights and security light flashes. The horn doesn't go off and it will start and drive. The guy I bought it from had a cheap Amazon key fob that appears to have never been programmed.

I've read around on the forum and seen multiple recommendations on disconnecting the wire from the ctm to the door lock. I did that and no avail but I also seen a few other things regarding connecting the wire to ground and also using various resistors. However there's seems to be varying opinions on the correct resistor.

could anyone point me in the right direction? I'm at the point I'm about to wire everything to a toggle

It sounds like you need to get a key that works properly. Adding any wiring or resistors seems like the issues would only get more complicted, and maybe even leave you stranded somewhere.
