Default Advice for reviving dulled plastics?

I am looking for advice on restoring the coloring on the plastics that are faded for the front and back bumper of my 05 dakota. I know the front is plastic base, and the back is half plastic with a metal metal on the bottom. Anybody have any low cost solutions? I heard of people using that black magic paint/dye paint to some success on like door handles, was wondering if anyone has done this. ( I bought this used and believe it was repainted so the plastics are faded but the paint job looks new, also looking to restore some color to the mirrors and door handles)

Default Use a large pink pencil eraser

Sounds strange but try a large pink pencil eraser. A lot of times the plastic isn't faded as much as it just has wax, soap or other residues stuck on it.

Eraser does an awesome job of scrubbing it out.

Cerakote makes a really awesome wipe that helps bring the color back. Or you can always do a bedliner finish if that fits your fancy

I've tried 2 of the restore to black products at the auto store. Neither held out for very long. Might of got half a year out of em. I've just come to overlook it.
