The sentry key system on my 2006 is a headache. Same on my old Jeep for that matter.
How does one disable the thing?

2006 Dakota, Standard trans no power locks or alarms, just the Sentry Key Immobilizer System. Nobody is gonna steal this truck, and the key system is just one thing after another.

 

I do not wish to spend any more time or $ on it, I want it gone.
