I'm replacing some brake lines on my 2007 Dakota. I bought a double flare tool from Eastwood, but after taking one of the brake lines off I see they are not double flared. I watched a video on using this tool, and the narrator said if you don't need a double flare, stop at step one. The problem is step one doesn't match the OEM brake line flare. My question is, is this going to be a problem, see the picture below,? If so, what type of flare tool do I need? If you're thinking the flare will flatten out when I tighten the nut, no it won't, I already tried that.
thank you for your help, greatly appreciated.
