Need help my 2006 dakota wont start
So here's what's going on with my 2006 dodge dakota. I had a leak in my transmission pan and needed to fix it so I pulled down the pan and replaced the gasket. I obviously had to replace the transmission fluid since the truck now had no fluid in it. In this process somehow the truck would no longer start. The starter would not even engage. I checked the battery, fuses, the ignition switch, the starter, and non of them had problems. Eventually I read about the neutral safty switch and pulled the pan back off to get to the valve body to replace the nss (neutral safty switch). I then filled it back up with transmission fluid and tried to start the truck and nothing happened. I read through forums and YouTube videos and I can't find anyone else that had the same problem. I then tried to start it in neutral and the engine turned over but made an awful grinding noise so I shut it off. I have not been able to start it since and need help. What is going on with my truck? I will take any suggestions please help.
