Default Can't fill gas tank all the way without pump stopping

The fuel pump keeps stopping when I try to fill up. I've read online that it is likely the evap canister. I did drive through some water during the hurricane floods. I'm wondering if I damaged the canister somehow. Has anyone had this problem before?

There is usually a valve to vent the tank when you fill up. It's normally on the tank or near the filler input spout. The canister is normally on Mopars under or next to the tank. This video ought to be close to what your problem is.

I'm seeing on the forums theres basically 3 things that get trashed. The NVLD pump, the charcoal canister, and the purge valve. Could be one, could be all. The purge valve is the easiest to check. It's right next to the master cylinder.
