Service Contract customer service
Does anyone have any information about how I can contact a Zone Rep for East Tennessee. I bought my truck in NC but the dealers in East Tennessee don't seem to want to honor the service contract my dealer purchased for me as a perk for buying the truck. I have coupons for six "free" oil changes issued to me by Dodge. The dealer in NC says he will change my oil for free but the Tennessee dealers say since I didn't buy it here, they will only knock off $15 but I have to pay the difference. Dodge customer service says since they are an independant dealer they can do what they want. Hmmm . . . Dodge truck on a Dodge dealer's lot with a Dodge issued coupon. Doesn't seem right. Has anyone else had any problems with service contracts. I'd also appreciate any tips with dealing with the customer service reps. Love my truck but customer service is lacking.
As a side note, I was also told that the local Dodge dealers had the option of refusing warranty work if I didn't buy the truck from them. Never heard of that before either.

dealerships have to submit those warrantly claims to Dodge in order to get paid for the work they did. My guess is that dealership must have had trouble in doing that in the past so they decided to just honor service contracts at all.
thats pretty crazy, i got the 3 years of oil changes with my truck and it works at BOTH dodge dealerships here in town no questions asked. Only dodge person i ever had a problem with was my salesman and hes getting fired :P i think the dealership in your area just must want not to be afiliated with dodge other than selling their trucks for some reason...
