Default Driveline bind

I have a '05 dak 4x4 laramie,144,xxx miles. Its got the typical issue with the transfer case motor acting up. I pulled the 25amp fuse over a year ago after verifying that it was locked into 2wd. Been driving great until a month ago, pulled into the driveway and noticed it was making a groaning/popping sound. Finally got around to looking at it, jacked it up and tried rotating the front driveshaft. It binds up enough that I have to rotate it by the front tires. It'll bind up and make a clunk, move the transfer case in a vertical movement and I cannot tell if its coming from the case itself or the front diff. All diff and transfer case fluids were changed by me @ 100,000 miles, transmission fluid changed @ 125,000. I did verify that its still in 2wd. The 4wd light does come on occasionally while driving. Anybody have any ideas? Attached is a picture of the I.D tag for the transfer case.
