Default Truck shudders under throttle

Hi folks,
2006 Dakota 4.7 shudders under throttle but immediately calms down when I come off the throttle. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Ken

"Shuddering" isn't an explicit enough description to help most of us narrow it down. Is it wot, partial, leaving a light, idle launch, etc. Where is the dysfunctional motion originating. Is it only initially, low rpm, high rpm ,etc.

Sitting in park, I can rev it without issue. Its smooth as silk. It only occurs when driving. It's not a violent vibration, it's more like driving on grooved highway or rumble strips. Below 1500 rpm it's very faint but It increases as the speed and rpm do. It immediately stops as I come off the throttle and runs smoothly at any speed, but as soon as I press down on the accelerator it returns. I've checked it to 70 mph.
Thanks for the reply

Some quick troubleshooting questions:

Does a check engine light come on/permanently or does it flash but not stay on?
Are your shocks in good condition?
When were the tires last rotated and their current condition?

If the answers are no, yes and within 5k respectively. Examine your driveshafts and CV joints, for wear, balance or play. You may need to lift the truck off of it's set to properly assess this. An make sure you're rims/tires didn't lose a set of balancing weights.
