I have a 2008 Dakota that recently stopped taking fuel at the pump. I end having to sit there and squeeze the handle 100 times just to get a couple gallons into the tank. It's also accompanied with an evap system code. I had zero issues with it until one day backing my boat in a little deeper water than normal. Immediately after that I've been having this problem. Is it possible water got into the Evap cannister somehow and is causing a clog? Any help or any opinion on what might be the issue is appreciated.

 

I've had this issue for a while. I usually pop the hood and pull the hose off the purge valve when filling. It comes and goes for me.
