Default Brake line fitting is a strange size can’t figure it out

I am trying to replace the brake lines on my 05 Dakota. I have been scouring the internet to find the size of tube nut that this thing needs. One end is a normal fitting 3/8 x 24 thread. But the other end is a 1/2 inch fitting with 24 thread. The normal fitting would be 1/2 inch with 20 thread. The thread are too big on the replacement. I can’t find a replacement this size anywhere. Any advice?

Seems strange to me it would have 2 different sized fittings on the same brake line .... I just assume the line is standard 3/8" all the way and just the fitting on the other end is different?

Just curious if you can search Amazon for 1/2" to 3/8" brake line adapters ... use a adapter and just run a standard 3/8" line?

Yeah I am finding it strange too. Just to clarify, the line is 3/16. But one end has a 3/8 fitting and the other end has what seems to be a 1/2 inch fitting with 24 threads. Or it might be m12 fitting but I got one of those and it wouldn’t fit in the threads either.

More information would help others answer your question.
What specific line is it? The goofy end, what does it screw into.... ABS sensor, Master cylinder? ..... this information could help with others that have a book or previous knowledge of the line.
