Default Sway Bar End Link torque spec

I have a 2008 dakota 4.7 that had a broken sway bar link. I changed both sides on the front out with some new driveworks links. Before changing, I called dodge and they told me the torque spec was 17 ftlbs on top, 75 on bottom. The new one immediately shreaded the bushings on the top. both sides. It may have been an old part to begin with because the bar had rust on it. I removed it and replaced with a new one via warranty exchange and replaced. The one now looks like its gonna shread too. The washer looks too small and like its gonna destroy that bushing. What did I do wrong? or is this the way its supposed to look?
