Default Soft top

Does anyone know of a soft top like softopper for this truck? Or what model will fit ours? Ive searched the forum and found someone saying they are available but no other details. Ive also seen that the 2nd gen might fit, but I can't find one for the second gen either.

Thanks in advance

Check etrailer.com. select your vehicle and box size. It will give you a list of compatible models they carry.

theres nothing there in regards the bed tops, soft or hard. Also nothing that would tell me what others might fit.

I remember someone here had one on their Dakota, Silver & Black truck IIRC. But like every other scarce aftermarket product that was thankfully made for our generation, these parts are no longer available. Hopefully you can still track a soft topper down.

Here is an inflatable one.

There used to be two folding camper tops - SofTopper and BesTop - that fit our trucks. Unfortunately, neither are made anymore. So, you would have to find a used one.

One note about them, though. They don't fit the trucks with the factory cargo rail that has the sliding tie-down cleats. At least not if you use their clamps to secure the frame rails to the top of the truck bed. You might be able to use deep C-clamps. I was going to buy a SofTopper several years ago for my 2011. But, in my discussions with SofTopper's customer service I was told that they don't have the clamping setup to secure the mounting rail to the top of the bed around my factory cargo rails, and I don't want to lose the cargo rails. So, I ended up just sticking with my tonneau cover.

The inflatable option looks pretty cool.
