Every time I restart my Dakota within 10 minutes of turning off it starts in limp mode with no display of what gear I am in. If I drive in limp mode the red gear light comes on and the engine light comes on everytime. If I wait the 10 minutes without starting it seems to reset and does not go into limp mode and works great. Just annoying having to wait the ten minutes sometimes. Did a road trip 2400 kilometers in two days and as long as I give it that ten minutes the truck works perfectly. What takes 10 minutes to reset so it doesnt go into limp mode on a quick restart?
