Default Cab Topper

Hello,

I have a 2005 Dodge Dakota. I am looking for a high soft topper. Is the 6ft bed the same in the trucks up to 2010? I am wondering if I look for a 2010 will it fit mine?

The 2005 - 2010 are all the same for the dimensions. 2011 they change the name to ram dakota, that's the only difference.

2nd gen's will fit as well. Seems to be more of a selection than ones specifically for 3rd gens. Only difference is the top rail is tapered on 3rd gens. The topper for the 2nd gens is square so it hangs off a bit at the back and in a bit at the front. Inside the bed it's perfect. For some reason, Dodge decided to add the taper to the outside top rails on the 3rd gens. I picked this one up for $100.
