do you think 17inch rims are a waste
I use my truck mostly for work, Iv done a few things to it to make it better performance wise, but I have seen them with rims and they look hot, I want mine to look good too, but getting 20s will hurt my performance(low end where I need it) and the tires are exspensive to replace, IM thinking about getting aftermarket 17s and putting my tires on em, has anybody seen a 3rd generation with aftermarket 17s, do they still look to small for the truck like the stock ones do, anyone with em here that has a pic,
if you go to http://www.tirerack.com/ and select your vehicle and then select "wheels" you can get an idea what the dakota looks like with different sized rims.
now personally i like the stock 16's...but would possibly move up to 18's...17's though just dont seem like they'd look that much different apart from the rims.

I concur with Drakkon, 18's would be better. If you are trying to get a large looking wheel with low pro tires, 18's are just large enough.
Also, they wont kill your performance as they arent super heavy.
