Bed Liner????????

RE: Bed Liner????????
Pendaliners are very nice, but after looking into it I opted for the Full Metal Jacket spray-in. Here's a good link: http://www.campway.com/products/pend...yin/index.html. I would avoid color matching and go with black. It cost me around $400 for this, and I had them do it over the rail. Turned out very well. Take 5 to read the web page, very informative about spray in liners in general, biased of course in their direction. I see other spray and drop-ins on trucks in my area and on occasion find that some have warped or peeled from the bed. I spoke with one guy who has the same liner and it is in the sun / rain all the time with no effect, just a little lighter - cured by some spray.
Points of interest:
- A pure polyurea like FMJ is much more user-friendly, since it is insensitive to moisture or concerns about high humidity or dewpoint. Urethane and hybrid materials are extremely sensitive to moisture, which cause CO² foaming
- While most spray-on bedliners are made of polyurethane formulas that are 100-percent solids, a few companies offer a different type of formula. For instance, Specialty Products, Inc. (SPI) offers a pure polyurea coating. SPI says polyurea doesn't suffer from blistering when applied in high humidity, which has been a problem with polyurethane formulas.
In contrast, polyurethane bedliner companies say using polyurea on a truck bed is overkill, it is normally used for serious industrial applications.
Industrial strength! Mwahahahaha!
