Default 3.7 question

hey guys, i am new to dodge. I could only afford the 3.7 06 dakota, and was wondering if it was worth my time to upgrade intakes, exhaust, etc. Thanks for the help.

well you have to ask yourself....what would make it worth my time and $$$?
are you going to be doing anything that mgiht take advantage of upgrades? or do you just want it for the sound?
either way it makes for fun weekend projects

I just installed a 63 seris kn intake on my 3.7 Set me back 260 some odd bucks but i feel it was worth it. Incresed the throttle responde and the truck doesnt struggle from a stop like it did before. Also, the noise, it wasnt my reason for buying but its still amusing. I plan on doing some exhaust in the near future and will prolly leave it at that for engine mods. Main reasoning being MPG

Autoanything with 25$ off 250 coupon, search google for autoanything coupons can usually find something that always helps. Took a few days to get tho but still worth the wait by far. Amazon also sells it in the 280range wihtout coupons.
