I have a Actron OBD II Autoscanner CP9135 which will not read OBD II codes on the 05 dak because of the new Controller Area Network (CAN) protocols. I understand the Actron CP9145 is usable with CAN and upgradeable. Need help. Is this scanner a good choice for the dakota?

Are you serious? It is near impossible to do your own problem solving or repair your truck without a code reader.
