What did you do do black out around the gauges? That looks sweet. Two thumbs up.

i removed the panel, scuffed it with grey scotchbrite, used a adhesion promoter (a primer) and then painted it

Geez......I kept staring at the picture and couldn't pick out what you painted black "around the gauges" until I finally looked in my truck.
I thought you painted something in the cluster when I first read it, but the gauges looked normal...lol

But yeah...looks nice.

I like how you painted the defroster vents black....that was a good idea.

The aluminum trim I'm not too crazy about, but it looks alright & if you like it.....that's ALL that matters!

well, since im a dealer i had to set my truck up with a kit, so i chose the aluminum, but i personally like the platnum better,i also started with the wood trim centerpanel, not the silver one,i blacked that out also before covering it.

Yeah the black around your gauges is very subtle....I mean it's nice, but no one would really ever realize it's not stock

Concerning your center radio bezel....I was like, "huh?" because I thought you had a LARAMIE (which comes with the silver radio bezel) but then I looked at your signature.
But yeah.....the trim you added to it looks just like my (Laramie) silver radio bezel....good job!
