Hey guys, thanks for the complements. Yeah it does sound great. And MattB, I live in woodbridge CT, *amity* But the exhaust has a nice rumble, its pretty loud, but I have heard louder. I wanted my truck to be real loud, and I got it and was very satisfied. I brought it to my school and some said they have heard louder, but this one has a very unique, rumble / sound. And by all means not quiet.

Sorry for the late reply. ATM im at Puerto Rico, on wireless laptop. Oh man, just to make all you CT / new england people jeleous...80 degrees average, Bright sunshine, and warm water. :-)

I like the flowmaster sound but dont like the fact their not stainless steel, as i heard they tend to rust out after 30K miles if they get a bit wet esp during the winter. Did meinike offer any sort of warrenty for rust/repair on the flowmaster/system? It looks nice and sounds great

The JBA system sounds good too, i wish we had a gibson and flowmaster now to compare them all to

30 series Flow on my Ram is still solid as a rock, I've put about 30k on it and it spends about 1/2 it's life caked in mud. Of course we don't have much road salt over here, but I live a few blocks off the ocean. I haven't got a clue how long the 40 series have been on my 5.0, but I've had it for about 3 years and 6000 miles and they look fine, no rust at all. I put 30k miles on my old 99 Grand Cherokee with the 4.7 and a 70 series flowmaster with no signs of rusting out. If you're in a road salt state you may have problems, but generally they're good to go for quite some time in most driving conditions. And there are some stainless flowmasters available.

Did you get yours from Magnum Mufflers on Ebay. I just ordered the same setup from Magnum on ebay for $219 with the Mandrel bend option. If it was the same guy did you have anyproblems other then the extension pipe?

Looks like a good system, although I do have a couple of issues with it. Just my personal taste, but you should have had them straight pipe it to the Flowmaster and got rid of that extra muffler/resonator. Also welds look better, but its a lot of work if you ever have to replace just one piece. $400 is what I paid for my Gibson and I installed it in my driveway in an Hour. Hardest part was getting the stock one off.
