Are there any aftermarket skidplates available for Gen 3 Dakota 4X4's? The dealer's parts dept. wants almost double the what the skid plate group sells for as an option.

You should consider buying the factory ones. They bolt on in just a few minutes (VERY easily). I downloaded pricing and part numbers from the website (for my '05)and found when I went into the parts department here in Phoenix that the tank plate was mispriced ($79.00 as I recall). The guy marked down the price considerably because it was wrong. He saved me a BUNCH of money. I think the prices are still wrong if you look them up for an '05. Give it a try. What could it hurt. BTW...ALL aftermarket options cost extra once you've bought yur truck
