Default Another 2005 defect

Hard to believe but, since my last and initial posting in this forum, I have had to take my 2005 Dakota SLT V8 back to the dealer again. I have ABS at all 4 wheels, and the ABS light went on last night and never went out until i shut the engine off. I took it to the dealer this a.m. and was told that the ABS sensors were bad in the rear. I was going to bring the Truck in anyway today because the power window on the passenger side wouldn't work. This truck has only 900 miles on the odometer so far. What can I expect to go wrong at 5000 miles, I wonder. This is my first Dodge and, while i like the truck overall, I remain disappointed in the obvious lack of quality control at the factory.

I wouldn't be too worried yet, actually. Electrical items tend to follow a "bathtub curve" when you plot failure rate versus age -- infant mortality is relatively high, but once that initial period is over, failures are rare until late in the component's life.

would agree with that. Its a vehicle and if they didnt have problems then i wouldnt have a job. The issues that you are having all involve electronics of some kind and moving parts. They are going to have problems at some point. Ive even seen them come of the delivery transports with some of the same issues, and they have 0 to 5 miles on them. Dodge isnt the only ones dealing with these issues. couldve been a ford or chevy and you could be in the same boat. Just stick around all the bugs will get worked out.
