i agree i really think it looks good with the black too. mine is chrome and i wish it were body color

I just started this transformation aswell. Just got in, and painted the front bumper. Next is the grille and the rear bumper. The darker headlights are nice.

 

For anyone wanting to paint it themselves, muriatic acid works well to remove chrome. Just leave the grille soaking in it for a while (can be up to a couple weeks, could be a day or two). Or you can sand it, but be careful to do it correctly.
