Level kit for 06 2WD
Help! All the links in the previous posts (at least my search results) don't show a level kit for a 2WD Quad Cab? One link says it is out of production??? Anyone have a source?
I'm also curious if anyone has done a leveling kit on a 2wd (assuming one exists) and then a 1" block in the rear (to maintain a bit of a raked look) and what size tires they were able to get on there. Looking to achieve a prerunner look. THX

Ok, so looks like I should scratch the pre-runner idea...
I would still really like to level the truck out some. I tow a boat so I want a bit of a raked look (but not much) so it's level when towing. Anyone lowered the rear about a 1 1/2" or so. Maybe have pics? Did you just use lowering shackles, etc?

Lowering shackles.....the ones on ebay are the only ones available...they lower 1.75" or 1.25":

I had a brand new set of those for sale about 3 weeks ago....only sold them for $45 SHIPPED
Decided not a good idea to lower the truck and have it bottom out, if I ever wanted/needed to tow anything.

Ok, last beating this horse will get...
I don't know why they quit making the 2" level kit for the front (2wd), so I will have to deal with it. Assuming it takes 2" in the front to level the truck is it safe to assume that if I use the shackles and lower the rear 1.25" then I still will have a subtle 3/4" rake? Dumb question or are the measurements "equal" and "comparable" in that regard?
I'm not a "lowered" truck person, I just can't stand the rake. Thanks!

Thanks... I'll follow up on that...
Anyone know why the Performance Acc. leveling kit was discontinued? I've found a website that has them but now I am curious as to why they stopped making them? Lack of interest/sales? Design problems? Etc? Anyone know?
As always... THX

Shackles are gonna be your cheapest route & also adjustable for you.....they're $68 SHIPPED off ebay and that seems to be the only place to get them

You can try the 1.25" drop and if you don't like that....go lower to 1.75"
The installation is SUPER SUPER simple.....just unbolt the stock shackle and put these in. And then adjusting it would be the same thing....undo the bolt and move it and tighten it back up.
