Hello, my name is Don, and I am brand new here. I purchased a new quad cab dakota with a 4.7 V8 on saturday. I searched the forums and am set on the new K&N intake system, but my question is this: is it smog legal for california, or do you have to install the stock system back on when you smog? Looking at the K&N site, neither the 63 Series nor the 77 Series (which fit the 05 Dak) are CARB legal.
