I was looking around on the IMCO Peformance Exhaust website and came across a DYNO chart for the 05 DAK. It says: Stock HP is 140.9 and Stock Torque is 190. WTF! This truck loses 90 HP before it gets to the wheels?

 

somewhere else in a thread about superchargers, they said stock WHP is like 179....depends on the dyno tho.....Dynojets for some reason show lower numbers, as to where "Mustang Dynos" show higher...


in fact, my buddies stage 3 WRX, only showed like 230 AWHP on a Dynojet, yet it spanked a cobra, few Z06's, Mustangs with NOS, SRT-4's with NOS....etc
with only 230 whp? that is bs. The guy who owned the dyno even told us that Dynojets usually show lower numbers than what you actually have...so i dunno



so basically, it all depends on a dyno, i could take my truck to a dynojet and it dyno at lets say 140, then go to a mustang dyno and it dyno at 179.

 

Yeah the ~180 rwhp number sounds right

I can't find the torque numbers though....but probably around 230-240 tq at the wheels

 

i installed the imco 3 inch from the cats back. nice system. had to bribe the installer to remove third cat. went with the 3 inch because of my trailer hitch and spare tire. would have to relocte tire. as far as dynos go the mustang is much better. there is a place in east hartford ct, that has a mustang dyno xxtuning, and my pulls were around 203 rear wheel power. i haVE JET STAGE 2 CHIP, K/N FIPK
EXHAUST AND IAT RELOCATER, RUNNING 93 OCTANE WITH AN OCCIASONAL OCTANE BOOST 104. every time a canyon or colorodo pull up i just start to laugh. best street race i had so far was from a wrx. was real close until he banged fourth and pulled away

 

A while back, there was a thread here that talked about the AWHP and it was 176. The company that did it was doing for a new CAI that they built for the Daks. I'll see if I can find the link and you should be able to get the chart out.
