Default RE: differential fluids

FWIW, I am in the process of changing all my fluids to AMSOIL.
Already changed the oil, tranmission, tranfer case, and differentials are next.

I channged my rear end fluid and used Amsoil 75W-140 Serve Gear Syn. I was reading where they did a study and found that if you change the rear end fluid at around 8000 miles the amount of wear will be less over the next 100,000 miles than there was in the first 8000. They attribute it to breakin wear. Also the rear end will operate at least 20 degrees cooler. Since I have the tow package I wanted to make sure everything would be running at its best. Also since I went to syn my mileage should improve slightly (maybe 1/4 to 1/2 mpg). Every little bit helps.
