I have an 05 dakota 6 spd manual w/ a 4.7l v8 and have had no problems so far. I have had my truck for a year and my only complaints about it are the height of the truck is a little to low for my taste, and no company seems to want to make any suspension lifts for it.

Well, I just did it. I ordered an '06 Dakota CC 4x2 with the 4.7 and the 6 speed in the Inferno Red. Should be here in 6-8 weeks and, thankfully, they locked me in with the current rebates/financing deal, so I'm getting a great deal. I'm excited.

 

GOOD LUCK ON YOUR RECENT ORDER. I HAVE THE 4.7 2OO5 , YOU WILL FIND IT TO HAVE PLENTY OF ACCELERATION. MY TRADE IN WAS A 1994 WITH THE 5.2, 115,000 MILES AND WAS BULLET PROOF. NO LEAKS AND STILL WOULD LIGHT THE TIRES
