I just got the AMI Billet fuel door but I'm having some trouble removing the two bolts from the stock door. They bolts were freakin painted over and they are stuck on there pretty good. I know some people have done this mod was there anybody than ran into the same problem and what can I do to losen these bolts up. I dont want to strip the bolts.

 

cut around the bolts with a small razor blade or exzako knife just to break the paint away from the bolts

 

I did this mod on my '05 Dak and had no problem. Are you sure you are using the right kind of driver/socket fitting? You need a #30 Torx -it looks like a 6point star. The oem bolts were snug but loosened right up.
