Default Dakota Thunderform Owners - Please Help!

I am going to build my own sub enclosure box, similar in size to the MTX Thunderform. I have a 2006 Dakota Quad Cab. I am only, ONLY, going to put an 8" sub behind the back seat. My dilema....getting measurements that are real. I have searched everywhere and cannot get out side dimensions of the Thunderform box to create my own.

Can any owner help me out? I do not need the, looking at the front side, right lip that hangs over the seat hinge.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks!!!

Is your tape measure broken???
Just take off the seat back and get some measurements

You're better off just buying the Thunderform though.....building a box is gonna be a pain in the *** and tricky to do since the wood (due to it's thickness) is gonna take up precious room behind the seat. Whereas, the Thunder form is only about 1/8" thick and fits perfectly. There really isn't much room back there to play with at all though.

The investment in the Thunderform is worth it! Just upgrade to a better sub & it sounds awesome!!

Here's a box (not a Thunderform) on ebay for you:

The problem is measuring the distance between a seat back, which if you remove is not there, and the back wall. I was hoping maybe someone already had the measurement of the Thunderform or the space behind the seat.

Thanks for your help though.
