americans are so impatient...you get this VIN decoding idea in your head and you want the results the next minute...im sure some of you ran out to your truck the second u saw that site. trade in ur truck for a horse and ur computer for a library of books and just give it a week. learn ur lessons the amish way.

any chance these build sheets are wrong? it says i have an automatic 5 speed...but i coulda swarn it was a 4 speed... now im worried other things are wrong like my axle size or somehting else thats gonna mess up a MOD... damn build sheet is useless now

 

Well, here's the thing. If you have the V8 engine, as your signature indicates, then you do have the 5 speed auto (or a 6 speed manual). You can only get the 4 speed auto with the V6. So I'd bet the build sheet is right.
