Somebody hit my Dak!!!
So the little lady and I stop into a local restaurant for a bite this afternoon. I park the Dak at the edge of the parking lot. We get out and go in. So far so good. Nothing out of the ordinary. After being inside about ten minutes, I hear a voice over the intercom asking for the driver of the silver truck to come to the front door. So I do. I look out and see a black Toyota Celica backed into my Dakota.
The Celica is a stick shift. Apparently, the lady driver forgot to engage the parking brake when she got out and it rolled backwards right into the Dak. How strange can you get?...two vehicles colliding with nobody behind the wheel of either one.
The good news is it obviously wasn't my fault, and the driver of the other car was a restaurant employee. So we got our food free. The bad news is the front section of my right rear fender is smashed in a good two inches.

Sorry to see those pics. It's not even my truck but I get that flushed feeling. Of course, today’s body shops are far advanced than ever before and you won't be able to tell it ever happened. Good luck with the results. Makes you want to put up a force field around it.
so the cherry was popped. i came out of lowes one evening and someone backed into my truck. the idiot then took off. cost me 1400.00 out of my pocket. because the insurance company said my rates would go up. at least you had people there. i had no one.
and the place said there not responcable for damage to vechicle while in there lot.

I took my 94 dakota from here in omaha to thru downtown boston at night and then thru time square NYC. It took me 2 hours to get into NYC its self because of the damn toll on the bridge but some how i never get hit UNTIL, my last day when a guy decided to make the worlds quickest parallel park by zooming into a spot that is already too small and by using my front bumper and the car aheads rear bumper as a brake. All I can say is thank god my 94' has crome metal bumpers rather than painted plastic ones so he left no damage on my truck at least. What was really funny though is driving through those big cities with nebraska plates and hunting stickers on my topper LOL.
I feel your pain, friend. Although my '05 Dak is as pristine as the day I drove it off the lot, I would absolutely freak out if it happened to me. Find a body shop with a good rep. Let us know how you make out. Post pix after it gets fixed.
