I've been searching around the forum and from what it looks like it's not good to just get the HID conversion kit if you don't have the right lamps. Where would I get the projector lamps that I need for my 06 Dakota?

 

All the info I have found says no Projectorz for the 05-06 Daks. Can't get DOT approval until they put an amber turn light/lens in them. Also you know it is illegal in most if not all states to put an HID headlight system into a vehicle where it is not OEM right. You can put brighter bulbs in but not a true HID system. I thought about it until I found out they are not DOT approved for on road use. Off road is okay but- I know folks do it but around here the police would be on it like white on rice.
