Stock Goodyear Eagle's
First question is there warranty on tires when you purchase a vehicle and how bad is it when you have rounded indent's, they kinda sink into the tire, what will it cause later down the road if i dont get new tire's, i seen one before on one of my tire's but never really thought anything of it.
If the indents were there from new usually it is where the plys cometogether and arent an issure to worry about. Tires are so cheap and OEM tires arent ever any good it seems. I am looking for a set and my truck only has 3500 miles on it. IS there any one that can suggest a good "truck" tire?
Yeah does anybody know what a good truck tire would be and what is the tallest and widest tire that the stock rim's would mount, i was really liking that larger tire that the 4x4 offered but my salesman said it would of cost me a extra 700+ for the dealer to do that, and he said they would have to do some other adjustment so that the speedometer wouldn't be off because of the tire change, would i also have to that if i went with larger tire's.
I don't know if this helps but in another post I mentioned that I have had good luck with Firestone tires. As soon as the POS Goodyears on my truck need to be replaced I will hightail it to my local dealer (Danny Leggett) to get another set of Firestones for my new truck. They don't stick quite as well but they wear well, do good in the wet, and inspire confidence. There is nothing that could make me buy Goodyear tires for any application. My experience with them has been uniformly bad.
