Default copper/gold colored brushings on wheels studs..

i changed my front passenger tire the other day. i noticed on 2 of the wheel studs, there were these 2 copper colored brushings..

does anyone know what thise are for.. not sure about my other wheels. i didnt check if they had them, but i'm guessing they do.

little retaining clip/washer thingys? I think they exist for assembly purposes...they get pitched first time I do my brakes on every car I've found them on....

Ya, toss them, especially if you get new wheels......

Ugh.... the dude who did mine the first time, didnt remove them, talk about harsh shaking...... :-\

Brushings?? Do you mean bushings? No offense intended, but I think some members should spell check/grammar check before submitting posts. I have seen posts in this forum that make absolutely no sense.
