I have a ST with the dark Gray bumpers. Does anyone make a chrome bumper cover for 06 as a add on? It seemed like I saw one once but will be dammed if I can find it. I mean a chrome plastic piece that would be glued to the top of the original Gray bumper.

I also want a chrome insert for my ST. I just had my grey cover painted the color of the body and found that you can buy the insert from the dealer.

 

the dealer has them cheap and it is not the kind you tape to the bumper.it is a direct bolt on. i had my body shop paint the frt bumper on my 05 because it came with the dark gray. 350.00.

 

I just left my dealer and he looked it up. He said they are all listed in M codes and couldn't tell which were painted and which were chrome. Told me to get a VIN# of a SLT that had one and he then would know which is chrome. He was a lot of help!

If anyone finds a part # PLEASE post it!

Not to sound like a smart ***, but couldn't you have walked onto their lot and find one and take the nice-helpfull man (lol) that VIN? *Of course, I relize that not every dealer has a wide selection of every vehicle*
I'm sure someone that has what you want will post their VIN.

 

They didnt have one. I think the parts guy just blew me off cause he was eating lunch.

 

Man it must of been the same place I went to,I think the regular counter guy was out to lunch and the business sales guy was covering for him.The same story when I asked about a color matched grill for my 05,I need the vin for an 06 the same color.No I didn't see one on the lot and at $270 I didn't look real hard.

Thanks Disgorilla I took care of the grill shell already found one on eBay the right color.I bookmarked that site though thier prices looked alot better than the Stealership has.
