Default overhead console

Just bought a 06 Dakota SLT,and would like to add a overhead console with computer to it ,
does any one know if the wireing is there for it? or do you need to add sensors to engine to make the computer work ?

Thanks in advance

you can add it but its not going to do much. you need sensors added to the engine, gas tank, etc and then the dealer will need to activate it all. It will still tell you the direction and time, but no MPG or anything. none of the wiring is there unless it came preinstalled

I thought that was standard equipment in the SLT.

No the overhead isn't standard on SLT...I had to order mine....one of the few options I got, actually.
