just bought a 2006 quad cab DAK 3.7, 6 speed thinking about adding a jet mod or K&N 63 or 77 series. has any one installed any of these?? and if so what do you think. will the K&N void the warrenty?? i like the 3.7 but would like a tad bit HP..

Hey. You cant go wrong with a K&N intake kit. They are a great company that backs there products. If theres every a problem they also do recalls. Worth investing in there products for sure. As far as the jet chip, I dont think its worth a dime. Id go with whichever series is the plastic tube setup with the K&N intake, this has the best hp gains and best heat resistance. It's OEM quality. Also, you'll be pleased to know that K&N makes all Mopars intake kits.

 

just jumping in and letting you know that the black tube one is the 63 series i have that one on my truck

 

my 05 4.7 has the 63 series and was easy to install. e b a y item 220.0. as far as the jet chip.i am running the stage 2. hp gain s were good. 203at the rear wheels with 278 ftlbs

 

I bought the plastic tube 63 series for my 2005 V-8 Dakota. Look on ebay for some good deals (I unfortunately paid more than I needed). You can tell there is a HP difference at WOT. I'm getting 1-2 mpg better under normal driving and towing. Can't go wrong with the CAI.

 

just bought a K&N 63 CAI will get it wednesday after i install it i will update everyong on tha performance.. paid 263$$ at 4filters.com free ship.....
