well I don't myself paint things of that surface, I repainted my cup holders with silver paint, and my radio ***** as well (check cardomain). I might recommend you also look into getting a custom vinyl face made for it. There's a place near me called Sticker City ( LINK ) and they do custom anything, carbon fiber, smoke, blue yellow transparents, and solid colors. If you want to check them out i'll be happy to offer my dak's dash as a layout for it.

I have the Laramie Silver bezel, I don't need to modify for myself, but I am sure someone would like to 'play' with it.
